V1.001 of Vigilant Paradise is now available for download. It includes the following:

• Stability improvements.
• Fixed issue where player could get two consecutive game over screens when defeated by first boss.
• Fixed issue where hearts could read zero in some situations.
• Fixed issue where enemies were hitting player through walls in some parts of the game.
• Some difficulty adjustments. 
• Other fixes. 

I'm still working on the delay on boot-up issue, and hope to have a fix for that soon.
